Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesfield-Goshen can't hold off Riverdale

The Riverdale Falcons basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers to 58 in the Falcons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a Blanchard Valley contest on Friday, January 26. Riverdale will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 78-24 non-league win over Ada (Ada, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-5.
With the defeat, Waynesfield-Goshen moves to 3-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Elgin (Marion, OH) to meet the Comets in a Northwest Central match on Friday, January 26. The Comets enter the match with a record of 3-9. Elgin lost 56-44 in their recent league match against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH)
