Kentucky High School Basketball - Tates Creek can't hold off Shelby County

The Shelby County Rockets basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Tates Creek Commodores to 66 in the Rockets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Rockets now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodford County for a District 30 contest on Wednesday, January 24. Shelby County will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 64-55 non-league loss to Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-4.
The Commodores (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights come into the District 43 contest with a 19-1 record.
