In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) basketball squad beat the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), by a count of 58-40.
The Titans (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs go into the Twin Lakes outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Newell-Fonda was topped by Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 73-53, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmond for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 25. West Bend-Mallard will clash with a Gaels squad coming off a 62-44 league loss to Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 6-7.
