In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Tandem Friends Badgers basketball team scored a tight 67-64 triumph over the Veritas School Lions.
In their next game, the Badgers meet the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a Greater Piedmont match, on Thursday, January 25. Tandem Friends will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Fighting Owls enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 48-46 non-league win over Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA).
With the defeat, Veritas School moves to 4-9 on the year. The Lions host New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Gryphons in a non-league match on Friday, January 26. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 13-2. New Covenant won 74-57 in their recent league match against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA)
