Maine High School Basketball - Temple Academy ripped by Valley

The Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Temple Academy Bereans to 39 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piscataquis for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Valley will meet a Pirates team coming off a 44-40 league win over Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Pirates record now stands at 7-5.

The Bereans (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings enter the D South contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Vinalhaven was routed by Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME), 42-36, in a league contest.
