The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes basketball team (Waverly, SD), was routed 61-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD)
The Bearcats now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Groton for a A Region 1 battle on Thursday, January 25. Webster will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-27 non-league win over Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
The Coyotes (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights come into the B Region 1 battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Aberdeen Christian trounced Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD), 62-34, in a non-league battle.
