The Americas Trail Blazers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Eastwood Troopers to 41 in the Trail Blazers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trail Blazers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Dorado for a contest on Friday, January 26. Americas will battle a Aztecs team coming off a 40-32 league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 11-6.
The Troopers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Montwood was defeated by El Dorado (El Paso, TX), 47-34, in a league contest.
