Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host FAU High Owls (Boca Raton, FL), 52-1 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Archbishop McCarthy upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Mavericks travel to West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-9. West Broward lost 57-44 in their recent non-league bout against South Plantation (Plantation, FL)

Next up, the Owls clash with the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars (West Palm Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. FAU High will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 31-24 non-league loss to Dr. Joaquin Garcia (Lake Worth, FL).
