The Ellicott Thunderhawks basketball team (Calhan, CO), was nudged 37-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO)
The Stallions now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manitou Springs for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks battle on Thursday, January 25. Banning Lewis Academy will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 59-37 league loss to The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.
The Thunderhawks (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, La Junta was nudged by Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO), 51-17, in a league battle.
