White River Tigers (White River, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), 69-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, White River upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers host Colome (Colome, SD) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Colome lost 50-25 in their recent non-league bout against Jones County (Murdo, SD)

Next up, the Warriors play the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) in a A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 26. Bennett County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
