In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), by a margin of 59-27.
The Bulldogs (15-10) will now prepare for their outing against Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A District 3 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Kinder was trounced by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 65-35, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Houston for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, January 26. Comeaux will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 45-38 league loss to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 3-19.
