Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) and the visiting Sanborn Regional Indians (Kingston, NH), saw Derryfield's basketball squad hold off Sanborn Regional by a count of 39-34.

With the victory, Derryfield upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Oyster River (Durham, NH) to play the Bobcats in a Division II challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Indians play the Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Friday, January 26. Sanborn Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
