The Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) basketball nipped the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 50-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Galway (Galway, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the Section 2 Western test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Galway was tipped by Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY), 47-37, in a non-league test.
The Silver Warriors now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a Section 2 Suburban test on Thursday, January 25. Niskayuna will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-6.
