The East Lee County Jaguars basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Island Coast Gators to 34 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gateway for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. East Lee County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
The Gators (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Canterbury (Fort Myers, FL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Canterbury prevailed over Ida Baker (Cape Coral, FL), 68-28, in a non-league contest.
