Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 68-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wayne Christian upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC) to play the Chargers in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout on Friday, January 26. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 13-6. Wayne Country Day won 65-28 in their recent league bout against Greenfield (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout, on Friday, January 26. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
