Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 32-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Faulkton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Leola/Frederick lost 34-32 in their recent league bout against Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Langford Lions (Langford, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Friday, January 26. Northwestern Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 52-26 league loss to Warner (Warner, SD).
