Kentucky High School Basketball - Franklin County trounces Mercer County

January 23, 2024: Harrodsburg, KY 40330

The Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) basketball crushed the host Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY), 61-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Flyers (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines go into the District 41 test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Western Hills walloped Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY), 66-46, in a non-league test.

The Titans now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Jessamine for a District 46 test on Friday, January 26. Mercer County will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 54-18 non-league win over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Colts record now stands at 13-6.
