Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Williamstown Blue Devils (Williamstown, VT), 46-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hazen upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Twinfield (Plainfield, VT) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Twinfield won 38-31 in their recent league bout against Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Williamstown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
