The Niles North Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting ITW David Speer Academy Pride to 40 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vernon Hills for a Central Suburban - North contest on Friday, January 26. Niles North will battle a Cougars team coming off a 47-29 non-league loss to Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 7-17.
The Pride (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Schurz (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Schurz was defeated by Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL), 58-26, in a non-league contest.
