The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host St. Thomas More Cougars to 21 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Vermilion for a 4A District 4 contest on Friday, January 26. Lafayette Christian Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 50-18 league loss to Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-8.
The Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels come into the 4A District 4 contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Teurlings Catholic was defeated by Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 61-59, in a league contest.
