The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-16. Vernon Hills lost 32-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) in a Central Suburban - North challenge, on Friday, January 26. Maine West will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 51-41 league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
