Louisiana High School Basketball - Mandeville nudges Slidell

In Tuesday's league outing, the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) basketball squad edged the host Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA), by a count of 37-34.

The Skippers (22-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave go into the 5A District 6 outing with a 18-11 record. In their last outing, Ponchatoula held off Albany (Albany, LA), 50-41, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now hold a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hammond for a 5A District 6 outing on Friday, January 26. Slidell will clash with a Tornadoes squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 12-11.
