In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators Eagles (Jonesboro, AR), by a count of 71-26.
The Indians (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Armorel (Armorel, AR). The Tigers go into the 1A Region 3 outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Armorel was crushed by East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 44-29, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 0-3 record.
