In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), by a count of 39-10.

The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Warriors go into the Shore B - Coastal outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Manasquan was crushed by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 49-41, in a league outing.

The Huskies now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Holmdel for a Shore A - Central outing on Thursday, January 25. Matawan Regional will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 83-38 non-league win over Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 7-6.
