Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Snyder Cyclones (Snyder, OK), 68-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Merritt upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Oilers host Hammon (Hammon, OK) to play the Warriors in a Five County bout on Friday, January 26. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Hammon won 85-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hinton (Hinton, OK)

Next up, the Cyclones play the Duke Tigers (Duke, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Snyder will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
