Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), 49-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy upgrades its record to 1-10 on the season. The Saints travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to play the Ambassadors in a VISAA Division II bout on Thursday, January 25. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Norfolk Christian won 87-17 in their recent non-league bout against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA)

Next up, the Knights play the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA) in a TCIS bout, on Friday, January 26. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 63-41 non-league loss to Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA).
