Nebraska High School Basketball - West Point-Beemer knocked off by Pierce

The Pierce Bluejays basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting West Point-Beemer Cadets to 38 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bluejays now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crofton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Pierce will meet a Warriors team coming off a 63-49 non-league win over Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 14-0.

The Cadets (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family was outscored by Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE), 79-28, in a non-league contest.
