    • Maryland High School Basketball - Sherwood trounces Wheaton

    January 23, 2024: Sandy Spring, MD 20860

    The Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), 78-5 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Warriors (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Kennedy was trounced by Poolesville (Poolesville, MD), 48-40, in a non-league bout.

    Next up, the Knights clash with the Rockville Rams (Rockville, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Wheaton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 41-37 non-league win over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD).
