Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) and the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Temple Academy by a count of 70-11.

With the victory, Valley upgrades its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Piscataquis lost 72-15 in their recent league challenge against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME)

Next up, the Bereans play the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a D South challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Temple Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 35-33 league win over Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME).
