Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 31-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Evergreen Park upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Argo (Summit, IL) to play the Argonauts in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Argonauts go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Meteors play the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record.
