In Tuesday's league battle, the host Ouachita Parish Lions soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the West Ouachita Chiefs.
The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats come into the Division II District 2 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Ruston nudged Neville (Monroe, LA), 4-2, in a league battle.
