Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Statesboro upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Swainsboro won 31-26 in their recent non-league bout against Jenkins (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Coffee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
