With the victory, Cypress Bay upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Lightning host Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to play the Flying L's in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Flying L's come into the bout with a record of 2-9.

Next up, the Cowboys play the Everglades Gators (Miramar, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Cooper City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 60-38 non-league win over Plantation (Plantation, FL).
