Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL) and the visiting Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), saw Wesley Chapel's basketball squad hold off Mitchell by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Wesley Chapel improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central (Brooksville, FL) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Central won 51-38 in their recent league challenge against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Cardinal Mooney Cougars (Sarasota, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
