White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pahranagat Valley Panthers (Alamo, NV), 33-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, White Pine upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Needles (Needles, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Friday, January 26. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the Beaver Dam Diamondback (Littlefield, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Pahranagat Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
