In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Portales Rams basketball squad scored a close 42-40 victory over the Ruidoso Warriors.
With the victory, Portales improves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Rams host New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM) to play the Colts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Warriors play the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Ruidoso will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
