Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS), 62-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Anderson County advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Humboldt (Humboldt, KS) to face the Cubs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 10-1. Humboldt won 53-50 in their recent non-league match against Iola (Iola, KS)

The Wildcats now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Coffey County for a Three Rivers match on Monday, January 27. Marmaton Valley will face a Titans squad coming off a 91-10 non-league loss to Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Titans record now stands at 0-8.
