In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Hobart Bearcats basketball team scored a close 55-49 win over the Arnett Wildcats.
The Bearcats (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Leedey (Leedey, OK). The Bison come into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Leedey edged Navajo (Altus, OK), 72-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Navajo Indians (Altus, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Arnett will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 72-43 non-league loss to Leedey (Leedey, OK).
