The Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK) basketball edged the host Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK), 63-61 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. Edison will play a Chargers team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Muskogee (Muskogee, OK). The Chargers record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Bixby falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Jaguars in a 6A District 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 9-3.
