Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County triumphant over Bluegrass United

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks (Lexington, KY), observed Nicholas County's basketball team overwhelm Bluegrass United by a margin of 70-47.

The Bluejackets (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the District 38 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Robertson County was routed by Augusta (Augusta, KY), 85-45, in a non-league test.

The Bluehawks (5-12) will now prepare for their test against LKY (Louisville, KY). The Saints come into the Ohio River HomeSchool test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, LKY was routed by Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY), 77-33, in a non-league test.
