Kentucky High School Basketball - Campbell County held off by Montgomery County

January 23, 2025: Alexandria, KY 41001

In Thursday's non-league test, the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) basketball squad got by the host Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY), by a score of 53-52.

Next, the Indians encounter the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Montgomery County will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 74-66 league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).

The Camels (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds come into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Harrison County was nipped by Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 60-47, in a non-league test.
