Connecticut High School Basketball - Classical Magnet holds off Weaver

The Classical Magnet Gladiators basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Weaver Beavers to 66 in the Gladiators league triumph on Thursday.
The Gladiators now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Prince RVT for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Classical Magnet will confront a Falcons team coming off a 81-71 non-league loss to Goodwin RVT (New Britain, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Weaver falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Kennedy (Waterbury, CT) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-8.
