In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights basketball team scored a good 48-39 triumph over the Concord Raiders.
The Green Knights (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers go into the Blue Hen Flight - A contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Middletown was toppled by Salesianum (Wilmington, DE), 69-68, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Concord will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 58-50 league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE).
