The Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, OK) basketball toppled the visiting Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK), 66-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cashion for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Fairview will play a Wildcats team coming off a 75-60 non-league loss to Riverside Indian (Anadarko, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-5.
With the loss, Varnum falls to 16-1 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to Perry (Perry, OK) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 3-10.
