Salem Witches (Salem, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), 58-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Witches host Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 3-5.

The Royals now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockport for a Cape Ann - Small match on Friday, January 24.
