The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen (Circleville, OH) and the host Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH), observed New Hope Christian Academy's basketball team overcome Hillsboro by a score of 72-61.

The Statesmen (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Green (Franklin Furnace, OH). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Green defeated Clay (Portsmouth, OH), 77-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Washington Blue Lions (Washington Court House, OH) in a Frontier challenge, on Friday, January 24. Hillsboro will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Lions come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 56-47 league win over McClain (Greenfield, OH).
