Kentucky High School Basketball - Sayre routs Holy Cross

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Sayre Spartans basketball team scored a big 71-49 triumph over the Holy Cross Cougars.
The Spartans (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY). The Aces go into the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Owensboro Catholic smashed Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Valley Vikings (Louisville, KY) in a District 21 contest, on Friday, January 24. Holy Cross will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
