The Joliet Central Steelmen basketball squad (Joliet, IL), was crushed 65-40 in Thursday's league battle with the host Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL)

With the victory, Plainfield North advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a SouthWest Prairie battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 1-19.

The Steelmen now own a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yorkville for a SouthWest Prairie battle on Tuesday, January 28.
