The Cougars (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers come into the James River challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Lunenburg Central prevailed over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 56-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA) in a Tidewater challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. King William will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Royal Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 54-49 league loss to West Point (West Point, VA).
