The Lockwood LIONS basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Laurel Locomotives to 25 in the LIONS league triumph on Thursday.

The LIONS now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Park for a A Southeast game on Saturday, January 25. Lockwood will confront a Rangers team coming off a 60-40 league loss to East Helena (East Helena, MT). The Rangers record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Laurel falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Locomotives host Hardin (Hardin, MT) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Southeast game on Saturday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-6. Hardin lost 80-60 in their recent league game against Park (Livingston, MT)
